Following the intensification of the contacts between
the West and the East, the need for multilingual translation services constantly increase. At the same
time, most translators' major specialization is restricted to two working languages, or, in the best
case, three or four languages from the same language group. Therefore, finding a translator with
knowledge of a variety of languages on a professional level, is difficult. WestEast focuses its efforts
on solutions of this very kind. Basic services, performed with long experience, provided by WestEast
are not only translation of scentific and technical documentation, legal documents, contracts and
literature, but also localization of web sites and software products. WestEast does not choose
clients, but makes every effort of being clients first choice.
Let's make the terms clear. SUN Microsystems gives the following definitions of the terms mentioned above:
Globalization is a product development and marketing approach,
which ensures that software products are usable in the world's major markets, and is achieved through a combination of internationalization and localization.
Internationalization is the process of designing and implementing software to transparently handle different cultural and linguistic conventions without additional modification.
Localization is the process of developing cultural-specific software components and translations that can be accessed by internationalized software at runtime. Software must be internationalized before it is localized.
Thus and so, business activities of the W.E.B. are focused on adapting information in customer's language to languages of the world's biggest markets. Our target customers are international enterprises that bring their products or services worldwide. Number of working languages W. E. B. Translations is not restricted to those few our page is written in, but also includes Dutch, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Vietnamese and many others.
